Hi everybody,

As I am writing this, we are in New Mexico. In the famous Blue Swallow hotel.
yesterday we had dinner at the bigtexan steak ranch in amarillo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I heard they have the biggest steak in America, so we had to try it. Together with Henk Kranendonk I tried it.
We had t eat a 72 oz. steak in one hour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We both had to give up. It was to much.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Afterwards we visited the gentlemensclub in Amarillo. Our motto was; "Show me your tits on route 66".

After breakfast the next morning we went to the Cadillac ranch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We went through cowboy- Indian country.
We drove on to 'Midpoint', in the city Adrian. Midpoint means, 1139 miles travelled and 1139 miles to go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After shooting the necessary pictures we went back on the road again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then it got warmer.
And then it got hotter.
And then it was too much for 5 of our VeloSolexes. Our chiefmechanic Harm huisman descided we couldn't go on, and had to give the VeloSolexes some rest.
